The images on this page are an amalgamation of my photographs of the mining sites with details from my ceramic vessels. Using Photoshop I have taken cropped areas of my finished vessels and overlayed them on top of the photograph that it was originally inspired by. This process of merging mediums has created a really striking group of images, resulting in an amalgamation of textures that hint to the rich history of these locations.
